Pioneers News · Mask Etiquette and Social Distancing 101 ~ Help Us Continue to Play!

Players, Parents, Fans and Visitors,

As Covid numbers continue to rise, so does the anxiety about the future of the winter season.  I have no crystal ball about what the future holds.  The only thing we can do is control what we can control.  By doing the right things, we stand a good chance of continuing our sports.  At Boonville High School Sporting events we WILL follow very simple protocols.  Social Distance and Masks On!

Here is what we expect from fans in the stands.

Masks

  1. Masks on over the nose all the time!
  2. Possession of food or drink doesn’t exempt you from wearing a mask.  FACT- you can pull down your mask to eat or drink and put it back on to chew and swallow. So please pull your mask down to take a drink or take a bite to eat and then put it back on to chew or swallow.

Social Distance

  1. Sit in the open rows.  Every third row is available for seating.  We have plenty of room.
  2. Family units may sit together and spread out in the open rows from other family’s.

IF YOU REFUSE TO ADHERE WE WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE.

IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO PLAY “THE CAT AND MOUSE” GAME WITH PROTOCOLS, PLEASE DON’T COME.  You are only concerned with yourself and not the best interests of the participating teams.

Sincerely,

Kevin Davis, Athletic Director
