The Pioneers lost a heartbreaker in double OT to the Commodores. The Pioneers trailed by 6 at half, but came out strong in the third quarter to take the lead. Glen Rouch led in scoring with 25 points. Joining him in double figures was Ryan Nance with19, Lane Kirkland with 16, Lane Miller with 14 points, and Joe Crow with 11 points.
The Pioneers play at Tell City on Tuesday at 2:30 pm.

the Pioneers started PSC Tourney play with an 85-69 loss to a very good Crawford County team. The Pioneers played well in the first half and trailed 40-37 at the half. However the Pioneers were outscored by 12 in the 3rd quarter and that proved to be the difference in the
game. The Pioneers were led in scoring by Ryan Nance with 24. Joining him in double figures were Joe Crow with 12 and Glen Rouch with 11.

The Pioneers are back in action tomorrow night at 5:30 at Heritage Hills High School.

Last night the varsity lady pioneers traveled to Evansville to play bosse. The team played hard and played together the entire game and came away with a 53 to 50 win!! The team was lead in scoring by Kaitlynn Torres with 11 pts and Sam McDowell with 10 pts. All eight girls who played scored and contributed in one way or another. The team will be back in action on December 29th when they will take on Edgewood in the Toby Yoho Classic.

Meet Recap

The boys swim team won last night against Gibson Southern 95-51. Winners were 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay of Taylor Russell, Eli James, Cody Elliot, and Mark Woolsey. Eli James won both of his events, the 100 Free and 200 IM. Cody Elliot won the 100 Butterfly. They are in action again Thursday against a tough Castle team. Come out to see if Eli James remains undefeated in the 100 Free.

The girls swim team placed 1st against Gibson Southern and Wood Memorial. First place individual finishers were Hannah McClure in the 200 Freestyle, Sarah Alexander in the 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke, Liz Alexander in the 100 Butterfly and the 100 Backstroke. First place relay finishers in the 200 Medley Relay were Liz Alexander, Maddy Conner, Sarah Alexander, and Lauren Dozier; and in the 400 Free Relay of Hannah McClure, Lauren Dozier, Sarah Russell, and Liz Alexander. Great job ladies!
