The Boonville Boys Golf team played its first match in 2 years last night. The team posted a score of 200 to finish above Tell City by 3 strokes. Gibson Southern won the night with a team score of 174. Low Medalist for the night was claimed by Tell City golfer Evan Noble. Freshman Matthew Mills got off to a great start with the team’s best score of 44. Way to go Matthew. Senior Nick Hyndman shot 47. Carter Wolfe shot 52. Cayden Gates shot 57, and Sophomores Dane Blaylock and Landon Wilder each shot 58. The team looks to keep improving when they head to Jasper next week. Great job, men. It’s good to be back!
