The Boonville Mens swimming and diving team had a great showing at the sectional finals, finishing 2nd place. The relay team of Braden Rollins, Tyler Bray, Blaine Hinton, and Zane Hendrickson won the 200 free relay, setting a school record and earning a trip to state. They also earned a trip to state in the 400 free relay, breaking our oldest school record; one that included our very own Mr. Collins. Braden Rollins also set a new school record in the 50 free, winning the event and earning his spot at state. He’ll also compete in the 100 free, an event he won and set new school, pool, and sectional records. Zane Hendrickson won both the 200 IM and the 500 free and will swim those at state. Tyler Bray won the 100 fly in a stunning upset and will return to state for the second consecutive year. Levi McKinney won diving and will advance to diving regionals alongside Lane Pollock who finished second. Great job Men! It was a great day to be a Pioneer. Lane and Levi will compete in diving regionals in Bloomington on Tuesday. Tyler, Braden, Zane, and Blaine will compete in the state finals on Friday in Indianapolis.
